Cities going to start spraying malathion starting Saturday night. No buffer zones respected. It's a "health order" from the province, so all the tree hugging and teeth gnashing will be in vain. The City of Winnipeg’s Insect Control Branch will commence its Adult Nuisance Fogging Program for the entire City beginning on June 23, 2007 at 9:30 p.m., weather permitting. Until further notice, fogging will occur on a daily basis between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. F ogging will not occur when temperatures are below 13 ° Celsius, if there is significant precipitation, and/or wind
