Thanks, Meinolf. I'm beginning to wonder if the error message are a result and not a cause. I found this: http://support.microsoft.com/KB/948496 and this: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/942861/en-us My NIC is the NC373i. I'm going to try disabling the offload stuff and see if that helps. Hi, I was getting browser error 8021 and 8032 in my system log and then my Windows 2003 std sp2 server would lose communication and have to be rebooted. Not sure if it's related, but when I later tested with browstat status from that machine I would get (on average) 10 successful results and then a result with the line above (the master browser it was using was also the domain master)

I'm running a Windows 2003 native domain (was originally an NT domain a few years ago) with 2 x DCs, 4 member servers and roughly 50 clients. My 'original' DC which holds the FSMO roles is the Master Browser. On virtually all other computers in the domain, the Event Logs are throwing up Event Source: BROWSER Event Category: None Event ID: 8032 Description: The browser service has failed

Ah, and AD....it's useful to mention that right off the bat. (and note that XP Home can't join a domain and really should be upgraded to Pro) > > The main problem is that, often the Server1 isn't reachable from any > client

I manage a simple network with two Win2003 Std and about ~15 clients with WinXP Pro/Home. The main problem is that, often the Server1 isn't reachable from any client of the network, and it's a problem becasue on that server is installed IIS wich is used by users to work with internet explorer. After 60-90 seconds the Server1 will be reachable again. I had watch the event viewer and I
