... could get "used to" other browsers and email clients pretty quickly. As far as building a box--these days, I wouldn't bother, just wait until a Black Friday type event, and you can get a killer desktop unit for under $400. Heck, leave Vista on it, and just run Ubuntu on a 2nd drive...
