... many perks associated with being an AAUS facility to give that up. It affects the accreditation of the whole zoo, with the AZA. Additionally, I learned that the insurance money saved because we follow AAUS protocol is what actually finds our volunteer program. I doubt that we'll be giving that up. Plus, it gives me reciprocity with other AAUS dive facilities, and also NOAA research. *
