They didn't really give a reason for firing her. Are they afraid to do so? Did she violate some rule of "conduct unbecoming of an astronaut?" or was it specifically because she is being charged with, but not yet convicted, of felony kidnapping? Or... did somebody just arbitrarily decide that she had become a bad image liability for the astronaut corps? I'm not saying she shouldn't
