if you change a user from one Business Unit to another, they lose their security Roles, and you must re-assign them. So your user likely cannot access the CRM because that user does not have any roles associated with their profile. Check the Roles. Hi there, We created a new organization unit in crm 4.0. Under that we created a business unit with same name as of organization unit name. After some time we thought that the child business unit is not needed and we disabled that business unit. When we create a security role in the parent business unit it got created in child business unit also. We assaigned a user to the enabled business

Seems like if you set up your tables with an auto number, then it would be taken care of when the record was created Then all you would have to do is pull that field up with the other fields!!! I'm using it to assign an Invoice Number. I have a workaround, by appending to a temp table that the Invoice Nubmer is an Autonumber, but I'd rather do it via VBA. A common way to end up with sequential numbering is to put the results of a query into a report, and use the RunningSum property of a textbox on the report...
