Yeah, definitely make sure and install the patches if you didn't already as some of the x.0 versions (probably including SONAR 6) had some big issues and almost immediate patches. Also, you mention issues with a plug-in, so you might want to make sure that is patched to its latest levels, too, in case the problems are actually plug-in issues that are tripping up SONAR in some way.
