I've contacted ABC and they are no use whatsoever. Does anyone have the footage of RAAF Mirages engaged in some aerobatics - it was used just prior to station closure at around midnight. Ooh, about twenty years ago at least! rb

Several Mirage aerobatic teams were also formed during its service with No 77 Squadron. Best known were the Deltas in 1971, followed by the Miracles in 1976 and a three-aircraft team of red, white and blue aircraft organised for the 1981 air shows. Basing of aircraft extended to Darwin in 1983 when No 75 Squadron relocated from Butterworth.

I remember that footage - although I remember it as B & W, if it's not a dodgy memory, it means your footage predates '75. That would be the footage of the 6 Mirage Aerobatic team the RAAF put together for the 1971 60th aniversary of the RAAF. I think they were callaed the Deltas. Must have had plennty of cash in them days.
