Hi Burt, I am still not sure what you mean by "desktop." So to repeat my questions- 1. Is your desktop redirected? 2. Is it made available offline? If this is the case, you could try deleting the old desktop using the Offline Files control panel applet. Click on view offline files, go to the share and delete offline copy. If that doesn't work, you could just reinitialize your offline files

The system that was orginally defined as Desktop" had files shared as D:\WorK - that system was fried - I have replaced it with a new "Desktop" (a am now using a My Book USB Drive) J:\Work. - which is now shared. The issue is my laptop running Vista Ultimate still shows Desktop\D:\Work (this no longer exsist I need to delete) and the new sharing of Desktop\J:\Work which is good. But apparenetly
