I had cataracts removed in 2007, wasn't bad at all...took more time for the prep, than the actual surgery. They were hoping for 20/20 but Dr. said my eyeballs look like footballs and the lens couldn't reach..but I settled for 20/25. Before surgery I was -7.50...6 weeks after the surgery it was like 2.25..the other eye was 1.50 I think...Great improvement. I wish my veins were as nice as yours
