"Install - got many problems that i've not been able to solve. Actually, it's fatal. I have an ati radeon x700 pro pcie card. Apparently, the x-server for Ubuntu 9.x and above will not support this card. What is truly annoying is that the live cd test drive works fine. Do an install and it's solid lock up if I try for a gui. > GRRRR!! What is most annoying and in my opinion unforgivable

I am accessing an instance of Excel 2003 through a Codegear C++ program I'm writing. The code looks something like this (not that it really matters all that much): TExcelApplication* ea = new TExcelApplication(this); ea->Connect(); ExcelWorkbookPtr ewbPtr = ea->get_ActiveWorkbook(); // do stuff... ewbPtr.Release(); delete ea; ea = 0; I can connect to Excel and write to it just fine
