Sounds like this guy had a fair bit of "luck" on his side, if a forced landing due to engine trouble can be called "lucky". In one of the photos of the scene there were power lines. Not sure of what direction that they run in compared to his landing but at least he didn't hit them, I s'pose. -- Those are my principles. If you don't like them I have others.
