I think I recall the figure as 70 feet but just reading up on some...It's not a CASA Reference. It's in the AIP (Air Services Website) Section ENR 1.7 ALTIMETER SETTING PROCEDURES http://www.airservices.gov.au/publications/current/aip/enr/1_7_1-4.pdf

Hello all. Can any of you IFR gurus point me the CASA reference which requires IFR pilots to check the accuracy of altimeters prior to takeoff? Hey everyone, im here at work and i'm trying to remember what we calibrate our altimeters to here in the OZ. do we use the hybrid system of feet and milibars? Or do we use the US Metric system of Feet and hectopascials.? cheers guys
