I have two domain that I want to migrate into one. My goal is to use Active Directory Migration Tool in the migration process. Before I can use the tool, I am trying to create a trust between the two domains and failing when attempting to validate. I have Domain A and Domain B. Hello. I am tasked with enhancing a VB6 website (i.e. ASP pages which Create objects that were built in VB6 and are pre-loaded on the server via an ActiveX EXE which itself loads an ActiveX DLL), but I cannot seem to get it to run on my computer. The not enough storage is usually indicative of a leak in an app somewhere on the DC, I would remove all third party software. It will likely clear up after the reboot for a bit at least. I also saw this type of error once when someone set up a restricted groups policy to remove the admin account from the administrators group. the system couldn't do it and would keep retrying until it

Hi Amcdiarm, You are right that an error like this is usually caused by a DNS problem. The symptoms you are describing are indicative of users not able to find the correct srv records in DNS, specifically the PDCe. I am also concerned by the "not enough storage" errors that you are seeing. 1. Make sure that you are not running out of drive space or your sysvol isn't bloating out of

This message also posted in Microsoft.public.windows.server.DNS as it seems to concern DNS issues as well. Starting last Sunday (day before memorial day), we started getting a slew of critical errors in our logs, as well as lost functionality on our domain: We have three Domain Controllers at AD 2003 level. We also have two Exchange 2003 boxes (front/back configuration), and a few other boxes
