STOP THE PRESSES: My SO advises me that it has been a slow week in the garden. We currently have 28 different varieties of flowers in bloom. Our peak, he further advises, was on June 1, when we had 56. And bear and mind that herbs, fruits, berries, and vegetables are also bearing or blooming at any given moment. Life is indeed good. Well, it's more or less okay. Who am I to say?
We've been currying like crazy, ourselves. The SO does prep work (and grows the veggies and herbs and spices). Yes, indeed, the house does smell good. I love the smell of curry, and of my SO's baking. You know, Marvie, Wall Street went south today, probably beyond reach. Things have finally fallen apart.
