Try looking in Options/Global then the Audio Data tab. You should see a "File bit depths" section around the middle of the dialog box. As for the Audio Driver Bit Depth, in Options/Audio then the General tab, that is a totally different thing. If your sound card only supports 24-bit, I'm surprised it gives you an option of more than one bit depth as mine is locked to 24-bit (with my E

On the input monitoring issue, remember that there are two types of input monitoring in SONAR. One is based on your explicitly turning input monitoring on for a specific track (or set of tracks). Hi All, I've installed Hardy Heron onto a GigaByte P35C-DS3R motherboard. I have a Creative X-Fi ExtremeGamer sound card installed. I went to the Creative site and downloaded the driver for Linux. I believe I have done what is said on the instructions. Which state (in part) "==================================================================== Sound Blaster X-Fi Linux 32/64-bit Beta
