From Lyman's 48th ed. They only list 2 cast bullets for the venerable 44/40. The first is from a Lyman bullet mould # 427666 which is a 200gr flat point. The other is a cast bullet from Lyman mould 427098 which is a 205gr semi flat point. The manual states bullets sized to .429. # 2 alloy for bullet metal. Powders for this cartridge are the usual pistol powders. Bullseye, Unique
