GW hospital in DC (http://www.gwdocs.com/) has a fair amount of info on their web sit. And I just got a newsletter from them that included an article about a knee replacement designed for women ("gender knee"). Another article I've seen also talks about minimally invasive procedures. My dentist had his knee done a few years ago. He said he woke up with his knee in a machine exercising it
