...just because it used quite a bit of oil in the first 10,000 miles and the drivers never checked (I think thats quite common with VWs?) A work colleague complained about a noisy engine in his newish 5series - the issue turned out to be no oil on the dip-stick!,It was refilled but long term who knows the damage thats caused, and i doubt stupidity is covered under the Insurance policy:-)
