Yes, I mean thumb dragging. But anyway, the parameter nTrackPos is always empty in the case of a vertical scrollbar. In the case of a horizontal scrollbar, it works, when I set the parameter nBar to SB_CTL in GetScrollInfo, what actually should be wrong, since my scrollbar is NOT a control scrollbar. Any ideas? nTrackPos, I think, is only filled in during thumb dragging; the same as nPos (the 16-bit parameter) is only valid during thumb dragging. When you say "During scrolling" you do not indicate specifically that you are referring to thumb dragging but in fact might be referring to simple line/page scrolling caused by holding the mouse down in those areas. In any but SB_THUMBTRACK, it is your responsibility

I'm using now GetScrollInfo; unfortunately the field nTrackPos is not filled during scrolling, although the parameter nMask is set to SIF_ALL (SIF_TRACKPOS).
