Hallo, wenn in Excel 2007 in den Einstellungen ein automatisches Sichern nach xx Minuten eingestellt ist und man nach einiger Zeit das Notebook ausschaltet und die erstellten Daten in Excel als Datei zu sichern, dann müßte man doch irgendwo die Sicherungsdateien finden. I've been having a similar problem, slightly different configuration. - Files are stored on a Win2K8 SBS Server, accessed via a mapped drive. - Workstation is a Dell Percision Workstation 490 running Win 7 Pro. - I verified that both server & workstation have the latest NIC drivers - Some Office files, but not all, files are extremely slow to open. It can take 2-3 minutes to open a file.

The editing of the hosts file (I added the IP address of the .local domain) improved the performance of the administrator account but not that of the users account. This morning I asked the customer to get another user to log on to the affected Win 7 / Office 2007 workstation. This user saw no delay in opening documents, so this confirms we seem to have a userid / user profile problem,
