Generally, you cannot call CoCreateInstance from DllMain, or from any function that is invoked by DllMain. Looking at your backtrace, that is what you are doing. You also cannot call anything that creates a thread from DllMain. Read about the limitations on DllMain in the MSDN. It appears you are loading the DLL while holding the loader lock, and this is caused by taking an action that loads

Hello, I have a simple test app that starts 5-10 threads and each thread executes the below function.
