Package: anjuta Version: 2:2.30.0.0-3 Severity: normal When attempting to auto-indent a large file, anjuta takes a rediculous amount of time. Rather than simply indenting it in the background, it scrolls down, line by line, waiting for the display to refresh for every line. When dealing with a couple of thousand lines, this can take an extremely long amount of time. It seems that the scrolling

While working in the guest, I know you can click on Action => ctrl-alt- del to lock the session. I use remote desktop quite often and once time when I was in a home pc, I noticed a padlock that I was able to drag to the quick launch icons. It was a quick, efficient means of locking the pc, even when remote desktop was full screen. Is there anything similar in virtual

I think this is a SATA driver problem on amd64 builds. I have the same problem (3 usable cores due to this!). I'm too am running a custom kernel but this was also happening on GENERIC. If you temporarily disable all USB drivers, you should see the SATA ATAPI driver pop up on 'vmstat -i' instead of UHCI. IRQ 19 is a multi-use IRQ and vmstat reports one IRQ grabber. First thing is to discover whether the DVD drive had gone bad or not. Connect an external DVD player via USB and see if playing different types of DVD's does or does not create the same problems. You may have to buy an extra DVD player from Best Buy or someplace like that (under $100), but it's good to own one as a backup. -- oscar :) ...Right click is your very good friend...
