This is the best of the three parts of Henry VI. The title character gets a lot more prominence here than in the previous parts - where Part 1 was Talbot's story, and Part 2 York's, this is much more Henry's. He gets by far the best scene almost to himself - Act 2 Scene 5, a meditation on the awfulness of war and the nature of kingship. Also, where the supernatural forces of the first two parts

I've just enjoyed the BBC 1979 production that is part of their DVD issue of the almost full canon. I doesn't have the lavish production fashion that we see in the 'Tudors', but it seems pretty good to me. I have a couple of questions that a google search hasn't answered satisfactorily.
