That is exactly what happened to me.The pen worked well until I change the option in Tools->option->pen. I check the pressure sensitivity and click OK. Then once I click the pen, it grays out. Even I changed back to the original option, I　could never bring the pen back. But the pen works in all other programs, ppt, acrobat etc. I use Wacom tablet， instead of a ...

The problem is, whenever I tried to use pen-mode with my tablet, it just gets disabled and I can't draw anything.
